INITIATIVE FOR HUMAN RIGHTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT 

Gokoh establishes the following guideline and shares them with our employees. We create an environment where employees feel free to speak.

【PREVENT LONG WORKING HOURS】

We share the Labor Standards Act including management.
We check the working hour every month. For employees with excessive hours, improvement measures will be taken.

【LABOUR SAFTY & HEALTH/ HEALTH MANAGEMENT】



To provide a decent and safe workplace, we have meeting times twice a day to make sure that every employee understands operation details, precaution points, and hazard prediction activities.
As a measure against heat stroke for warehouse workers, we provide jackets with electric fans to maintain health and improve summer productivity.

【REDUCE INEQUALITIES & DIVERSITY MANAGEMENT】



We offer periodical interviews with our invaluable employees from various backgrounds. Also, we offer a more comfortable work style tailored to each employee, like staggered commuting, telework, flextime, and the right people in right place, so every our employees can play an active role.

【PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT】



We are preparing various educational opportunities for our people. Training courses sponsored by the trade association, forklifts and cranes operation courses, and customs brokers and international multimodal transporters courses.


INITIATIVE FOR GLOBAL ENVIRONMENT


We separate garbage into categories and collect them. We reuse pallets and recycle and reuse packaging materials to avoid wasting limited resources.


We are working to reduce electricity consumption by switching to LED lights, and also turning off lights if they are not necessary.
We introduce battery forks in our forklifts and environmentally friendly vehicles in our trucks.
For paperwork, we use soft copy to reduce the amount of copy paper.


We regularly carry out cleaning activities around the perimeter of our warehouse.


ABOUT PRODUCTS AND SERVICES


As an AEO warehouse operator, we have the highest guideline in our place. We control the safety of facilities, examine packaging at entry and exit, maintain cargo storage conditions, and check people in/ out.
And also, as an AEO customs broker, we comply with rules and offer the best quality of service. To maintain such quality of service, we review our operational procedure periodically to improve.

INITIATIVE FOR A BETTER SOCIETY


We belong to a local service organization and participate in their activities
Every December, we continuously donate colored pencils to children's homes through Yokohama City Hall.


INITIATIVE FOR OUR SOCIETY


We aspire our people aware of our responsibility towards society. Management communicates and shares philosophy and goals with employees.
We have established an internal system for legal compliance through AEO certification and approval.
Internal audits and compliance (CP) education are regularly conducted by the general department.
In addition, the Safety and Health Committee confirms the workplace environment, safety, and health.

【MAINTAIN BUSINESS 】



We prepare in case of emergency, and each of our branches stores emergency goods, food, and drinking water in case of natural disaster. An emergency contact line is also ready.
