The Environmental Policy

GOKOH UNYU KAISYA, LIMITED, as a company engaged in a wide range of logistics services, recognizes the treatment of environmental issues as a key challenge that it should tackle to pursue the “sound global environment” stipulated in its “Code of Business Conduct.”

We take environmental issues as globally important matters and will proceed with the following measures so that we can fulfill such social responsibilities as the Global Environmental Protection and establishment of the Recycling-Based Society.

  1. We put in place our promotion system of the Global Environmental Protection and try to reduce the environmental load by continuously implementing our environmental activities including resource and energy saving, industrial waste reduction, and promotion of recycling and green procurement.
  2. We endeavor to contribute to the Global Warming Prevention through preventive measures against air and water pollutions, and keep paying attention to the environment.
  3. We comply with relevant laws, statutes, and regulations on environment as well as other commitments we make.
  4. We will improve our employees’ environmental awareness through the employee education so that all employees can grapple with Environmental Preservation on their own responsibilities based on this Environmental Policy.
  5. We monitor the state of the efforts and will continuously improve the actions.
